What is the difference between Easy Rider and Self-Riding?

With Easy Rider, you sit behind an experienced licensed local driver who handles the mountain hairpin bends while you relax, shoot photos, and soak in the breathtaking views. With Self-Riding, you ride your own semi-automatic or manual motorbike; you must have an International Driving Permit (IDP) with motorcycle endorsement (Class A).

How does the VIP Bus pickup work, and are bus tickets included?

Bus tickets are optional and not included in the base tour price. You can add a VIP sleeper bus from Hanoi or Sapa directly to our hostel in Ha Giang City (arriving early morning for a free bed, hot shower, and breakfast before starting the loop), plus return tickets after the tour to Hanoi (+$16), Sapa (+$16), Ninh Binh (+$18), or Cat Ba (+$25). Add them during online booking or ask our team to arrange them for you.

Can I leave my large suitcases and extra luggage in Ha Giang?

Yes! We provide 100% free, secure luggage storage at our Ha Giang hostel. You only need to pack a small day backpack (20-30L) with clothes and essentials for the trip. We provide waterproof covers, tie-down bungee cords, and high-quality protective gear.

How does payment and deposit work on your website?

You can reserve your tour instantly online using our secure online payment gateway. We accept payment via PayPal. You can pay a small deposit (25%) or the full amount. We provide instant digital booking vouchers and receipts.

What type of accommodation is provided during the tours?

Our base tour prices include authentic communal ethnic homestays and hotel dorms with warm blankets and hot water showers. If you prefer extra comfort and privacy, you can select our Private Room option for just $25 per person per night to enjoy a cozy private room in Dong Van Old Quarter, Yen Minh, Meo Vac, Du Gia, or Cao Bang.

What safety gear is included?

We provide full DOT-certified high-standard helmets, elbow & knee impact pads, durable rain jackets/ponchos, and luggage rain covers. Our Easy Riders are seasoned mountain guides who prioritize safety over speed.

What should I pack for the Ha Giang Loop?

We recommend: lightweight layers (it can be warm in valleys and cool in the passes), a warm fleece or windbreaker jacket, sturdy sneakers or hiking boots, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, swimwear for Du Gia waterfall, and personal medication.
